Qatar University Scholarship Benefits

The Qatar University Scholarship offers the following benefit depending on the category of the scholarship are as listed below:

1.External Scholarship

• The students will be supported by the University of Qatar and the scholarships include tuition fees, university accommodation, as well as annual airfare tickets.

2.Internal Scholarship:

• This scholarship only includes book fees and tuition fees.

3.H.H. Emir of Qatar Scholarship for Excellence in Education:

• These scholarships are exempt from tuition fees and book fees.

4.Outstanding Performance Scholarship:

• These scholarships are available only for tuition fees.

Eligible Criteria for Qatar University Scholarship

Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be qualified on a Qatar University Scholarship:

• The required language for this scholarship is English
• All countries of the world are allowed for this scholarship

1.Internal Scholarship Criteria

• Applicants must hold secondary school certificate.
• Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the college they are applied for.
• The scholarship must be awarded within first semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded if the student does not pass the scholarship will be suspended, and the student being informed by Qatar University through email.

2.External Scholarship Criteria

• Applicants must hold secondary school certificate.
• Applicants must meet all the admission requirements for the college they are applied for in order to be qualified.
• The scholarship must be awarded within first semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded, if the student does not pass the first semester the scholarship will be suspended and the student will be informed by Qatar University through email.

3.H.H. Emir of Qatar Scholarship for Excellence in Education:

• Applicants must hold Qatar Secondary Education Certificate
• A maximum score of 95% in secondary school certificate.
• Applicants must be complete the secondary school at the same time of the year of the application is made.
• These scholarship awards are only made during the fall semester.
• The scholarship must be awarded in the starting semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded if the students does not pass first semester the scholarship will be closed.

4.Outstanding Performance Scholarship Criteria:

• You must be enrolled at the University of Qatar.
• You must have a GPA of 3.50 to 4.00 scores.
• You must have completed at least 30 hours of credit in Qatar University.
• Students with a cumulative GPA will be selected.

How to Apply for Qatar University Scholarship

1. New students can apply for a scholarship through the admission application system.
2. Create a new user account 
3. After creating an account login with your ID and Password and then click on number 11 on the scholarship application.
