Applicants for undergraduate program must meet the following requirements to apply for a scholarship:
- Candidates must enroll as students at HAW Hamburg.
- Candidates must have completed their high school studies outside of Germany or graduated from Studienkolleg.
- Candidates should not be approved by BAföG.
- You must not apply in design program for this scholarship
Other Criteria for Undergraduate
- You must be an international student at in order to apply HAW Hamburg.
- You have completed your studies abroad or you have successfully completed your studies at Studienkolleg.
- Students in Visual, Communication, or Design are not allowed to apply for this scholarship.
- You are not receiving BAföG or other government funding.
- You must have at least average grade of 2.2 grade.

The scholarship is for one semester in order to expand for two or more semesters you must complete all courses in the semester one a grade point average of at least 2.5.

Applicants for master's program must meet all the following requirements to apply for a scholarship:
- You must be an international master student at HAW Hamburg.
- You have completed your Bachelor's degree studies abroad or you have successfully completed your studies at Studienkolleg.
- You have completed your bachelor's degree program in Germany or abroad.
- Students in the Design courses, Public Health course, Public Administration course, Social and Health Management as well as other educational masters Heide and Lüchow-Dannenberg education officials cannot apply for a scholarship.
Applications for the first semester: You have completed the bachelor's degree in the required semester with "excellent" according to the German program system.
Interview date, Process and Venue for Masters Scholarship
- The scholarship is offered for a semester one in order to expand for two or more semester you have to complete first semester with a grade point average of at least 2.5.

How to Apply for HAW International Scholarships for master's program
Please fill all the application form for Undergraduate or Master's program and submit it to the HAW Hamburg International Office. The scholarship is awarded by the HAW Hamburg Commission.
