Deakin University Scholarship Benefits

Deakin University Scholarship will provide:

  • Will provide yearly stipend of $28,092 but tax is exemption
  • Will provide relocation fees range from $ 500 to $ 1,500 (per person to family) for students from abroad in order to study at Deakin.
  • For International Students Only: Single overseas student health cover policy for the period of the student visa.
Eligibility criteria for Deakin university scholarships

To be eligible for a Deakin University Scholarship, a Candidate must meet all of the following requirements:

  • You must be fluent in English in both written and spoken.
  • This scholarship is allowed for all international students from all over the world.
  • In order to be eligible for the RTP Stipend, RTP Fees, RTP allowance or DUPRS the student must be national or international who has enrolled in an HDR course study at Deakin University.
  • To be qualified for the RTP fees an applicants must not be received an award or scholarship from Commonwealth designed to offset HDR fees.
  • To be eligible for RTP or DUPRS Stipend a student must not receive money from other source to support that student's for living cost while doing their classes if that income is greater than 75 per cent for an RTP or DUPRS stipend rate. Income unrelated to the student's course of study or income received for the student's course of study but not for the purposes of supporting general living cost is not taken into account.
  • Applicants for the RTP or DUPRS Stipend must have completed at least four years of higher education and have completed the first class of honors or equivalent degree.
For Doctoral degree
  • Complete a research project in related fields including thesis which is equivalent to at least 25 per cent of the full-time study at level 8 or 9 of the Australian qualifications with achievement of a grade for the project equivalent to a Deakin score of 70% or equivalent.
  • For Master's degree (Research) in related fields.
For Master Degree
  • Complete a research project including a thesis which is equivalent to at least 25 per cent of a year's full-time study at a level 8 or 9 of the Australian qualifications frame work with the achievement of a grade for their project equivalent to a Deakin score of 65 per cent.

2.Prepare to submit the following documents:
  • Curriculum vitae or resume.
  • Copy of academic Transcript.
  • Copy of your previous research Degree.
  • Publications Information document.
  • Bibliographic Information document.
  • Provide evidence of the identity and nationality.
